The following hunting packages have been carefully designed to make it easier for you to choose an experience that suits your interests. You are, of course, welcome to customise any package by adding additional game species, hunting days or special experiences to create a safari that is uniquely tailored to your wishes. Alternatively, we can create a completely bespoke safari from the ground up, tailored entirely to your preferences, interests and expectations. From the choice of game species and hunting areas to the duration, accommodation and special experiences, every detail can be carefully planned to create your ideal Namibian hunting safari.
THE STEYR SAFARI
Precision, Adventure & the Spirit of the Namibian Bush
Experience Namibia from behind the rifle with a safari created especially for hunters who appreciate Steyr Arms, classic hunting and the thrill of the walk-and-stalk.
Set in the bushveld of central Namibia, this 6-day hunting adventure combines diverse game, comfortable country-hotel accommodation and some unique experiences you won’t find in an ordinary hunting package.
A true highlight is the Rooivark — an innovative, fully electric eco-friendly stealth hunting vehicle developed for approaching game with minimal noise and disturbance. Its virtually silent electric drive allows you to move discreetly through the bushveld, while its low-profile design and excellent visibility make it exceptionally well suited to locating game and setting up the final stalk. Once the right opportunity presents itself, you leave behind the vehicle and continue on foot, putting the emphasis firmly back on traditional walk-and-stalk hunting.
The Rooivark adds an entirely different dimension to the safari: quiet, revolutionary and designed to bring hunter and game closer together without compromising the ethics and challenge of the hunt.
To complete the Steyr experience, your package includes a Steyr Arms hunting rifle at no additional rental charge, allowing you to experience the precision and handling of a Steyr rifle in authentic Namibian hunting conditions.

THE CLASSIC
Experience Namibia’s Most Iconic Game
The Classic Hunting Package has been carefully designed around some of the most popular and sought-after plains game species Namibia has to offer. It combines six days of hunting in two distinctly different regions, allowing you to experience not only a variety of game, but also the remarkable diversity of Namibia’s landscapes.
Your safari takes you from the wide-open landscapes of southern Namibia to the bushveld of central Namibia. Each region offers its own character, scenery and style of hunting, making this a truly varied African hunting experience.
HUNTING IN THE SOUTH
The first part of your safari takes place in the south, where the landscape is characterised by vast open plains, rugged mountain ranges, dry riverbeds and rocky hillsides. The vegetation is generally more open, providing long views across the landscape and making game spotting an important part of the hunt.
The southern terrain offers a classic spot-and-stalk hunting experience, where careful glassing, patience and an understanding of the terrain are essential. The vastness of the landscape and the beautiful desert-like surroundings create an unforgettable setting in which to pursue species such as Oryx, Springbok and Zebra.
HUNTING IN CENTRAL NAMIBIA
From the open landscapes of the south, the safari continues into the central Namibian bushveld, where the environment changes dramatically. Here, thicker vegetation, acacia trees, rocky hills and dense bush create a completely different hunting environment.
The central region is particularly well suited to hunting Kudu and Impala, where the thicker bush requires hunters to slow down, read tracks, glass carefully and make use of every available opportunity. Hunting in this terrain can be challenging and exciting, with game often appearing only briefly through the vegetation.
The contrast between the two regions makes this package especially appealing for hunters who want to experience different landscapes, hunting techniques and game species during one safari.

THE YOUNG HUNTER
Your Introduction to Hunting in Namibia
The Young Hunter Package has been designed especially for first-time hunters who want to experience the thrill of hunting in Namibia in a relaxed, personal and professionally guided environment.
This four-day safari takes place in the south of Namibia, a spectacular hunting region characterised by vast open landscapes, rugged mountains, dry riverbeds and beautiful desert scenery. The area offers excellent opportunities to hunt two of Namibia’s most iconic and sought-after plains game species: Springbok and Oryx.
Springbok are one of Namibia’s most distinctive antelope and a true symbol of the country. Hunting them in the wide-open terrain of southern Namibia provides an exciting challenge that combines careful spotting, stalking and a good understanding of the landscape. Oryx, with their impressive size, striking appearance and exceptional adaptability to Namibia’s harsh environment, offer a rewarding and memorable hunting experience.
Your Hunting Experience
Your journey begins at the airport, where your hunting professional, Martin Günther, will personally welcome you and accompany you on the approximately five-hour drive south to Alt Duwisib Nature Escape. Along the way, you will travel through some of Namibia’s diverse landscapes, gradually leaving the busier areas behind and entering the vast open spaces of the south.
On arrival, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with your chosen rifle and adjust to the local conditions on our fully equipped 700-metre shooting range. This provides an excellent opportunity to prepare for the hunt, practise in a safe environment and ensure that you and your rifle are working together confidently before heading into the field.
During your stay, you will be accommodated in our comfortable mountainside chalets, offering privacy, tranquillity and spectacular views across the surrounding landscape.
After a day in the field, you can relax and enjoy delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Martin’s wife, Bettina. We believe that good food, comfortable accommodation and genuine personal hospitality are an important part of the Namibian hunting experience.

THE FULL MONTY
From Field to Table — You Experience It All
The Full Monty Hunting Package is for those who want to experience hunting in its most authentic form — not simply taking the shot, but being involved in the entire journey from the first stalk to the final meal.
Set in the beautiful landscapes of southern Namibia, this hands-on experience gives you the opportunity to become part of every stage of the process. You will head into the field to track and stalk two non-trophy animals, carefully selecting and taking your shot under the guidance of your professional hunting guide.
But the experience doesn’t end there.
Once the animal has been successfully harvested, you become part of what follows. You will have the opportunity to participate in the field preparation, slaughtering and meat processing, learning how the meat is handled and prepared from the animal you have hunted yourself.
And then comes the best part — sitting down and enjoying the meat you brought from the field to the table.
This package offers a genuine connection to hunting and the food it provides. It is an opportunity to understand and appreciate the complete process, from tracking and stalking to harvesting, processing and eating.
